By turning these two faces into one harmonious woman, we celebrate inclusivity, shared humanity and the interconnectedness of neighbours. It also reflects how neighbourhoods influence personal identity. The expressive, yet slightly different eyes, reflect how each person sees the world through their own unique perspective that also often overlaps with the perspectives of others.
Artist Bio:
My love of art started at the age of 7. The concept of taking what you see in your head and creating it into something tangible for people to see is truly wondrous to me. I love using portraiture to capture human emotion and create narratives for others to explore. To me, art is not only a craft that consists of intricate concepts and techniques; it is also a way to tell stories and therefore connecting with others.
