Spelers moeten Ivy The Kiwi helpen op haar zoektocht. Zo moeten er takken uit de grond omhoog komen om Ivy een handje te helpen. Daarnaast moet de speler veren verzamelen om de highscore op te vijzelen. 

In totaal beschikt dit puzzelavontuur over honderd uitdagende levels. Het spel is niet zo maar een avontuur, maar eentje van de hand van Yuji Naka, de bedenker van Sonic The Hedgehog. In tegenstelling tot Sonic draait het spel van Ivy niet om snelheid.
