A very traditional chess set combination of our elegant Windsor Series chessmen in solid rosewood and boxwood, matched with a luxurious mongoy palisander and maple chessboard.
The Windsor pieces are superbly proportioned and nicely weighted for their size. Hand turned and polished using natural waxes, these pieces display some of the classic characteristics of the original Staunton design, yet possess more contemporary lines and curves that bring them to life.
The woods of the chessboard match well with the colour of the chessmen, and the eggshell lacquer improves the richness of the grain. In all, a classic set that oozes quality and value.
This chess set includes a burl chess piece case with a hinged lid.
