Add a powerful studio camera to your 4K broadcast when using an ATEM Mini or DaVinci Studio with the Blackmagic Design Studio Camera 4K Plus G2. Updated from the HDMI Studio Camera 4K Plus, this compact and lightweight broadcast camera now features a 12G-SDI input, 12G-SDI output, and HDMI 2.0 output for even more compatibility with SDI switchers. This camera has all the same features as the Studio Camera 4K Plus, including an active MFT lens mount, 25,600 ISO, 13 stops of dynamic range, a tally light, two USB-C ports for recording and control, built-in dual microphones, a 7" HDR LCD, and a redesigned sun hood. And now it can output 12G-SDI video as well as utilize the program feed and talkback features via SDI.

Designed for Live Production:
While Blackmagic Studio Camera is designed for live production, it's not limited to use with a live switcher because it records Blackmagic RAW to USB disks, so it can be used in any situation where you use a tripod. The large 7" viewfinder makes it perfect for work such as chat shows, television production, broadcast news, sports, education, conference presentations, and even weddings. The large bright display with side handles, touchscreen, and physical controls makes it easy to track shots while being comfortable to use for long periods of time. Because it's so lightweight, it's perfect when you're constantly changing locations and doing different kinds of work.

Studio Camera Design:
The distinctive Blackmagic Studio Camera has all the benefits of a large studio camera because it's a combination of camera and viewfinder all in a single compact design. It features a lightweight carbon fiber reinforced polycarbonate body with innovative technology in a miniaturized design. The camera is designed for live production, so it's easy to track and frame shots with its large 7" viewfinder. The touchscreen has menus for camera settings, and there are knobs for brightness, contrast, and focus peaking. Plus, a tripod mount and mounting plate are included for fast setup.

Advanced Low-Light Performance:
The Blackmagic Studio Camera features gain from -12 dB (100 ISO) up to +36 dB (25,600 ISO), so it's optimized to reduce grain and noise in images while maintaining the full dynamic range of the sensor. The primary native ISO is 400, which is ideal for use under studio lighting. Then, the secondary high base ISO of 3200 is great when shooting in dimly lit environments. The gain can be set from the camera or remotely from a switcher using the SDI or Ethernet remote camera control.
Cinematic Images in Live Production:
Sensors combined with Blackmagic generation 5 color science give you the same imaging technology used in digital film cameras. When combined with the built-in DaVinci Resolve primary color corrector, you get much better images than simple broadcast cameras. The color corrector can even be controlled from the switcher. With 13 stops of dynamic range, the camera has darker blacks and brighter whites, which is ideal for color correction. Great for both HD and Ultra HD production, the 4K models feature a resolution of 3840 x 2160 from 23.98 to 60 fps.
Affordable Photographic Lenses:
With the popular EF or MFT lens mounts, Blackmagic Studio G2 cameras are compatible with a wide range of affordable photographic lenses, and the active lens mount lets you adjust the lens remotely. To eliminate the need to reach around to adjust the lens manually, the optional focus and zoom demands let you adjust the lens from the tripod handles just like a large studio camera. This means you avoid camera shake when adjusting the lens so you can track shots and operate the camera without taking your hands off the tripod. It gives you the same feel as an expensive B4 broadcast lens.
Frame Shots with Large 7" Viewfinder:
The large 7" high-resolution screen is big enough to make framing shots much easier. On-screen overlays show status and record parameters, histogram, focus peaking indicators, levels, frame guides, and more. You can even apply 3D LUTs for monitoring shots with the desired color and look. The touchscreen also has menus and you can load and customize presets for different jobs. The included sun hood can be folded to protect the screen for transport, plus it is compatible with the sun hood from the Blackmagic Studio Viewfinder.
Physical and Touchscreen Controls:
Blackmagic Studio G2 cameras feature physical buttons and knobs, as well as touch controls on the screen. Knobs on the right side of the camera allow adjusting of the brightness, contrast, and focus peaking. The focus peaking knob is useful as it lets you fine-tune the detail highlight so you can get accurate focus as you zoom. The three function buttons on the left can have functions assigned to them, such as zebra, false color, focus peaking, LUTs, and more. Plus you can change the function assigned to each button in the menus. The touchscreen also includes a heads-up display with the most important shooting information, as well as menus for all camera settings, LUTs, and custom presets.
Communicate with the Director via Talkback:
Unlike consumer cameras, Studio G2 cameras have SDI connections that include talkback so the switcher operator can communicate with cameras during live events. That means the director can talk to the camera operators to guide shot selection, eliminating the problem where all cameras could have the same shot at the same time. All models support 3.5mm headsets that are designed for smartphones. Talkback uses audio channels 15 and 16 in the SDI connection between the camera and the switcher, as well as in the program return from the switcher to the camera, so any embedded SDI audio device can work with talkback.
Multiple Ways to Connect:
The HDMI supports video, tally, control, and record trigger for a broadcast-style workflow using a single HDMI cable. They also have 12G-SDI so you can connect to SDI-based switchers such as the ATEM Constellation. There's a 12G-SDI connection for camera video and one for program return. The program return also includes tally, talkback, and remote camera control.
Low-Cost Camera Control via SDI:
All Blackmagic Design ATEM switchers can control cameras via a protocol embedded into the camera's SDI video connections. Setup is easy because all ATEM switchers broadcast control commands from the switcher's SDI program output to the camera via the SDI program input. The switcher can perform color correction, tally, and lens control, and these are sent to all cameras. All you need to do is select the correct camera number and it all works. Even ATEM Mini switchers can control Blackmagic Studio Cameras because the HDMI output to the switcher has return data communication that can send control information back to the camera, so the camera operator is free to focus on framing shots.
Blackmagic RAW Quality:
Blackmagic RAW is designed to capture and preserve the quality of the sensor data from your camera. Some file formats such as H.264 are highly compressed, adding noise and artifacts, causing sensor detail to be lost forever. Blackmagic RAW eliminates this problem so you get stunning images with incredible detail and rich color throughout the whole post-production pipeline. Blackmagic RAW also saves camera settings as metadata so you can change ISO, white balance, and exposure later in DaVinci Resolve. Plus the files are small and fast, so editing responsiveness is incredible. Only Blackmagic RAW gives you the highest quality, smallest files, and fastest performance.
USB Expansion Port for Accessories:
The Studio G2 camera features a high-speed USB-C expansion port that allows you to record to external disks, control the camera via a network, or connect to a wide range of accessories. Plug in an external USB flash disk, and the camera can record high-quality 12-bit Blackmagic RAW files for later editing and color correction. That means you can just move the disk to a computer to work, and you don't need to waste time copying files. Or add a USB-C to Ethernet adapter to control your camera over a network via easy-to-use REST APIs. You can even copy files off the camera via the network. Optional focus and zoom demands allow full lens control, just like a large studio camera.

Built-In Microphones:
The Studio cameras include built-in microphones so you get sound included in the design, making setup much faster. Plus the built-in microphones are shock and wind resistant, so you get great sound even in tough conditions. With each microphone placed at the edges of the screen, you get the advantage of the studio camera design for better stereo separation than what is possible on a regular video camera. There's also a 3.5mm audio input for connecting video camera microphones as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Monitor Program Video:
The camera lets you view program video from the switcher at the press of a button. Simply press the camera's PGM button and the viewfinder will switch from the camera display to the program return feed from the switcher. Plus, the built-in speaker lets you monitor the switcher audio. Program return is often used on large live shows, and camera operators can be left waiting a long time for their camera to be used, so program return lets them watch the show while they wait. This means even if the camera operator is a large distance away from the switcher, they can still keep up with what's happening and remain alert.
Powered by Blackmagic OS:
With the advanced Blackmagic OS, you get an intuitive and user-friendly camera operating system based on the latest technology. Blackmagic OS is a true modern operating system where all camera features run independently for smoother control, plus the camera powers on virtually instantly. It features the same controls and menus as other Blackmagic Design cameras, so you can move between cameras on the set easily. The interface uses simple tap and swipe gestures to adjust settings, add metadata, and view recording status. You also get full control over advanced camera features such as on-screen focus and exposure tools, 3D LUTs, HDR, metadata entry, timecode, Blackmagic RAW settings, and more.
Supports 3D LUTs for Film Looks:
When Blackmagic RAW files use logarithmic film gamma to preserve the camera dynamic range, 3D LUTs can be used to convert the images on the viewfinder display from looking flat and washed out. 3D LUTs solve this problem because they convert the image just before it's displayed on the LCD. This allows the film gamma images being recorded to be converted to nicer-looking images on the LCD. 3D LUTs are also saved into the Blackmagic RAW files so they can be used in later post-production, but they are never burned into the Blackmagic RAW image data, so you always have the option to disable them. This means the 3D LUT is transported in the Blackmagic RAW file but only used when you enable it.

Localized in 13 Popular Languages:
The Blackmagic Studio Cameras are designed to be used worldwide, so they support 13 popular languages. When setting up your camera, you can choose to work in English, German, French, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Chinese, Japanese, or Korean. It's easy to switch to another language simply by going into the menu settings. When switching between languages, all the on-screen overlays, heads-up displays, and setup menus will be displayed in the selected language, and you can change languages any time you like.
Powers via DC:
Blackmagic Studio cameras have a common 12 VDC locking power connector, so the cable won't be accidentally pulled out. Plus, the camera includes a power supply with five different AC socket adapters for different countries.

Awesome for hyper dogs
Color: Blue
AWESOME - I have a dog that just won't stop trying to get me to play with him ALL day! I turn this thing on and he goes nuts and tires himself out...without any help from me. The cover got torn off and torn up in minutes but he doesn't care. He just wants this ball. My other dogs, who are older, aren't really interested. But if you have a hyper dog this is the thing for you and them!

Great entertainment, charges quickly!
Color: Orange
Super fun entertainment for dog! Toy ball charges quickly and the charge lasts for at least an hour of playtime for the dog. There are 2 modes. one mode Just lights up, which makes it easy for pet to chase it. The second mode not only lights up, but it also wiggles on the ground Randomly and speeds off in a direction on its own, which really makes it interesting for your dog or cat to follow! Once the ball is not touched for about thirty seconds, it goes dormant and it will stay like that As long as it's charged until somebody touches it, and then it starts up randomly lighting up and moving around the floor on its own And making a vibration noise. It's a lot of fun to watch the dog chase and play with, and it certainly keeps them entertained for a while! The laughs and fun entertainment are definitely worth it. The only downside is that my dog chewed off the soft fabric covering in about twenty minutes. And she's not a real big chewer. It looks better with the covering on it, but even without it, the ball works fine and she plays with it every day.So that is not a showstopper. But good to supervise your dog for safety. In case they are a chewer, and they decide to destroy the cover. But the ball works fine without the cover too!

Looooves her crazy new ball
Color: Orange, Color: Orange
Our 90lb mastiff/boxer mix Indie is very playful, curious and energetic. She needs toys that engage her and keep her busy. This ball does the job! We’ve had it for less than a week. Here’s what I love and what could be better: PROS: • She dog loves it. She whines for it. She gets absurdly excited when I get it out. She’s a bit of an anxious dog, but had zero problems with it inexplicably coming to life. • It lasts a while on a single charge, so it keeps her busy for a good long time. The longest we’ve used it at a stretch is an hour. • It’s pretty durable. She’s a super chewer (destroyed every “non-destructible” toy we’ve purchased for her), but the actual ball is hard plastic. She gnaws on it and it gets scratches, for sure. But she’s not going to chew it to pieces. • On carpet, it’s reasonably quiet. • It comes with a replaceable silicone button. • It’s easy to charge…just pull off the silicone button and the charging port is inside. • The silicone button is flush with the ball’s hard plastic surface, so there’s no way for her to pull the silicone button out and swallow it or get to the charging port. CONS: • Cover is worthless if your dog is a chewer. It goes on like an envelope with a Velcro closure. We took it off immediately. • Without the cover, it’s very noisy on hardwood floors. To us, it’s worth it. (Though, I work from home, so I might feel differently after the holiday vacation.) • She’s an XL dog, so she can fit the whole ball in her mouth easily and accidentally chomp down on the button and turn the ball off. Not a big deal, just something to know if you’ve got a Lab or larger dog. • With extended playtime, the two halves can come unscrewed, especially with a large dog who uses their paws/jaws on it a lot. Thankfully, it makes a loud buzzing noise when this happens, so we know we need to take it from her and screw it back together. Is this a potential danger? With the rechargeable battery inside, I’d say yes. But we also don’t let her play with this toy without supervision. So keep that in mind. Bottom line: It has its drawbacks, but it keeps her entertained and seems like it should last her at least 6 months with supervised play. Which is honestly REALLY good when we’re talking about Indie, Destroyer of Toys. I’d buy it again.

Difficult/impossible to unscrew plastic cups (in order to recharge the vibrating/blinking device)
Color: Orange
Generally, I don't leave feedback on items purchased. However, in this case, I feel compelled to do so in hopes the mechanical engineers (of this product) will take my input to heart and ultimately modify it. First the pros... - I have 2 high-energy dogs (Jack Russell Terriers) who love their toys (e.g., chewing bones, tug-of-war, etc.) but usually get bored with them rather quickly. - This interactive PetDroid ball, however, keeps them busy for a long time. - In fact, my smaller dog (Max) knows its storage location and sits (as early as 6 AM) in front of the cabinet so that I give him "his ball". It keeps him busy for up to 1-2 hours at a time. - Max is literally addicted to the PetDroid ball... his determinant play with it makes me laugh all the time. Now, the cons... - After several days of play, the exterior looks chewed up quite a bit. That's no problem though. - Unfortunately, the interior "threads/grooves" of the two plastic cups (for closing/fasting) are very tiny. - Thus, after an hour-long hard play, it is almost impossible to unscrew the 2 plastic cups in order to recharge the interior device. - It appears the 2 cups somehow come off track and get realigned from the inside. - At that point, I cannot unscrew the PetDroid ball in order to recharge the device.... and without the blinking/vibration, this toy is no longer fun for play. - Ultimately, I had to place the bottom half of the ball into a vise and then use a plumbing wrench to untwist it. Proposed Solution: - Increase the size of the plastic cups' interior threads/grooves so that they won't get realigned/come off track. - This would mitigate the current dilemma of NOT being able to unscrew the ball in order to recharge it. In my view, this should be a relatively simple fix and significantly improve the durability of this product. Thank you for your time.

Good fun and entertaining!
Color: Orange
A really fun interactive toy for your dog! It's pretty erratic and really gets him chasing it. The included soft cover was kinda hard to install and then it's hard to turn it off and on with the cover on, I feel like the cover didn't really improve it at all, sure it's louder without the cover but I feel like dog also likes it that way, he likes loud squeaky toys and this thing making a bunch of noise is appealing to him. We have mostly hardwood floors so it really gets moving, I'm sure on carpet it would be a bit quieter and maybe even a bit slower to move around but on hard smooth surfaces this things can really get zipping around abd get some speed to make him chase it. Overall a fun and entertaining toy.
