Background - What is team work?

'Teamwork’ is the process of working together with others to accomplish a goal. Because it is so important for a business to have teamwork, colleagues must work together and try their best under any circumstances. Teamwork means that people will cooperate, using their individual skills and providing constructive feedback, despite any personal conflict between individuals." If the whole team is focused on great work, however the differences can be turned into strengths and the goals and objectives are achieved.

What makes teamwork possible? When people work together towards a common goal it is called collaboration. The foundation of teamwork is therefore a common goal. Collaboration will be more difficult if each member of the team has a different agenda. It will make it harder to produce outstanding work and reach goals.

Our Work in a team course is based on the unit of competency of BSBXTW301. Whilst this course is not nationally recognised, it follows the learning outcomes and elements associated with that unit. The course contains
