Dallas Don Burnet got his start in the 1980’s California punk scene, and rose to prominence in the early ‘90’s as bassist with Los Angeles’ post-punk stalwarts Thelonious Monster, and then as drummer for pop-art troubadour Beck, before founding his own melodic noise/rock outfit, Lutefisk. In 2009, Spin magazine declared Lutefisk to be one of “The 100 Greatest Bands You’ve (probably) Never Heard Of”. Burnet's first solo outing, “Cancel My Disappointment”, is a collection of nine songs brimming with melody, more folk-pop than punk-rock, with jangling guitars and memorable melodies soaring against a backdrop of strings, keys, horns and drums. Comparisons have been made to Bowie, Grandaddy, Elliot Smith and even ELO, but on this release Dallas Don creates a sound all his own.Released April 3, 2012

Very pretty and bright. It’s thick and great quality. Strong grip and doesn’t come off easily. Easy to clean when it gets dirty. It also has a nice backing. I prefer the transparent bright pink backing than the clear version. I love the strong magnetic for when I position it upwards. It can be positioned downwards too.
