3,500 joules of protection

The VII Series surge protector has 3,500 joules on tap to defend against otherwise lethal spikes. Once the VII Series has expended all 3,500 of its joules and its protection is no longer active, the blue Protected shield icon's LED will stop illuminating, letting you know it's time to pick up a new unit. Over-current protection safeguards against hazardous amperage spikes of 18 amps and over.
