A Salty Dog is the 3rd studio album by English progressive rock band Procol Harum, originally released in 1969. The album has an ostensibly nautical theme, as indicated by it's cover (a pastiche of the famous Player's Navy Cut cigarette pack).A Salty Dog showed a slight change of direction from it's predecessors, being thematically less obscure. The title track itself was their first track with an orchestra, as would be referred to in the live album performance some three years later.In his retrospective review, Bruce Eder of online reviews wrote, 'This album was where they showed just how far their talents extended across the musical landscape, from blues to R&B to classical rock. In contrast to their hastily recorded debut, or it's successor, done to stretch their performance and composition range', calling the title track 'one of the finest songs ever to come from Procol Harum and one of the best pieces of progressive rock ever heard'.

I think they look smashing ...as my British friend would say!
My goodness I absolutely love them. Yeah they're plastic but they really are lovely. Easy to put together and by the way, I'm 85 year-old young lady, and I did it all myself big deal… I hope they last a long long time because they look really spectacular on our driveway posts! Oh, and they give the needed lights that I was hoping for I really like them as you can tell. I'm heading off for a bridge game right now but tonight when the lights are on, I'll take a picture and try to add them here. I really really think they're lovely.

Looks good but but takes work to put it together.
Parts do not fit together well. Had to take a knife to trim top to make it fit. Plastic nuts and bolts. Light works well and stays lit for hours.

Looks Fantastic

Very easy to install, and looks very nice. It’s made from a durable composite material, not metal, but it’s built well. No one would know that it isn’t metal. On the pricier side for solar lamps, but you’re buying a quality product.

Good product for the price!

This light is not bad for being a solar powered product. I have it in the area that receives most of the days sunlight as this area gets full sun (that side of the house gets blasted). The light is on for about 6-7 hours. I am thinking of buying another one. Just note that the housing is plastic.... not super high quality, but it gets the job done for the price point.
