Spekboom (Portulacaria Afra), often referred to as a miracle plant due to its many exceptional properties, is an antiseptic and soothes skin ailments such as sunburn, rashes and insect stings. The juice of the leaves is high in nutrients, especially Vitamin C.

Cape Chamomile, another exceptional local plant, is extremely nourishing to the skin, useful for treating hot, dry, irritated conditions such as sunburn, eczema and rashes. It can heal and repair skin damage and is a potent treatment for sunburn. The addition of calendula oil adds further help to promote skin repair and soothe inflammation and lavender can help lessen redness and inflammation.

With an added a dash of peppermint essential oil for its cooling effect on the skin.
