We worked with English Racing on this profile to offer the 2.2-2.4 lower reving engines with mivec control a profile that would allow for more air volume in the cylinder to help fill the larger displacement engines and make more midrange and top end power. The 6009R2 is a high lift very aggressive profile with a short overall duration to keep a lower usable rpm band. The 6009R2 is designed to rev between 4000-8500 rpms and should be used with a stroked engine or added displacement engine. The peak lift of 12.1mm intake and 11.9mm exhaust will require upgraded valve springs and a titanium retainer with special attention to seal to retainer clearance. With the lift of this profile it is suggested to only use the 5041/5040 Ti retainer and spring kits do to valve seal to retainer clearance. The 5041 can be used to 40+psi and the 5040 to 32psi on the R2 profile at 8500rpms without float or flutter issues. The profile will work fine on the OEM Rocker Arm and the Zero-tick lifter or with the OEM lifter. We have seen gains of 25-30whp over the S2 profile on the stroked applications with much more possible when used with a ported head and aftermarket intake manifold. .S2 Specs .

Nice tool, but with a 4 year life span.
I bought this on Nov. 2020, after hand surgery left me temporarily unable to do simple yet necessary tasks- like opening a wine bottle. 🤪
It's compact, nicely designed, and reliable. I kept it plugged in all the time with no issues. The only negative so far is the blue light which stays on whenever the unit is in the base, fully charged or not. (Not a fan of the many small yet bright lights from all appliances! Placing a Talking Yoda figurine in front of it blocked enough of the light to satisfy me).
I found it easy to use and appreciated the foil cutter. Worked well on all types of corks.
Flash forward to spring 2024... Despite the constant charging, the corkscrew dies at maybe a half inch into the cork. Just slows down and dies. Having read earlier reviews, I may try to crack it open and replace the battery. But ultimately, having regained my hand strength back, I'm more likely to go back to an old fashioned, reliable, hand operated corkscrew and celebrate the loss of weird lights and needed electricity.
Conclusion: unless you are recovering from hand surgery, just get a good quality non- electric corkscrew and use it for 75 years (optimistically). Best deal ever. And you can take it camping too.

Wonderful opener

FINALLY!! A product that works efficiently, exactly as promised, and does an excellent job with no learning curve. This wine opener is easy to use, and works exactly as it should. The capsule cutter works like a breeze, and the cork lifter is smooth and fast. It pulls the cork, then reverses, and pushes the cork back off and into your waiting palm. Totally impressive! Wish all products were made as well.

Small yet mighty
I love this wine opener. Its small footprint on my countertop is just perfect. It has a little light when it’s charging and I love the accessories. It’s very nice for its price. I got it before the holidays so I can honestly say it got a lot of use and it’s working like a champ!
