Nomad Leather is more uniform and refined — cleaner colour, less wild grain variation, and a more modern look. Horween is real USA leather with stronger patina aging and natural variation. Pick Nomad Leather for the consistent modern aesthetic; Horween for the heritage character story and 10 ft drop rating.
How does the patina develop?
From day one to day 100, daily handling buffs marks into a rich, lustrous character unique to you. Nomad Leather develops patina more subtly than Horween — cleaner, more uniform aging.
How does Camera Control work through the case?
Excellent. The glass Camera Control button transmits all gestures — light press, full press, slide — with native responsiveness. Photographers won't notice a functional difference from the bare phone.
How much protection does 8 ft drop rating cover?
8 ft (2.4 m) is roughly chest height — covers most everyday accidents (counter, pocket, walking falls). For more aggressive scenarios, the Rugged Case rates 15 ft.
Does MagSafe charging work?

Comfortable from the first night

Not as Firm as I had hoped

A good pillow.
However, there is quite a difference between the manufacturer's and my idea of "medium firmness". I found this pillow much softer than I had anticipated.
I'll have to go for firmer for my next purchase.

I admit when I was wrong.

3/29/26 - I took the pillows and put them in my dryer on steam refresh for the default 10 minute cycle.
OMG - they fluffed up and evened out to be soft and comfortable, no lumps whatsoever. If you like a soft pillow with some support, but not firm support, THIS is what you want. I am truly amazed.

Previous review---They arrived in a vacuum seal bag. When you cut the bag and they inflate, they inflate lumpy like. Some areas are thick and some have to fill so, not very good. I am going to try washing them and drying them to see if they fluff up better.
Will post the results in a day or two.
