The Simpson CPT88Z Concealed Post Tie is designed to securely attach wood posts to existing concrete with a clean, concealed finish. It features a 1-inch standoff design to prevent rot and ensure durability.

Simpson CPT88Z Installation Overview
- Use all specified fasteners
- Mark dowel/bolt locations on post using the knife blade portion as a template
- Drill 1/2"-diameter holes perpendicular to post at marked locations
- Cut a 3/16"-wide slot in the end of the post adjacent to the holes
- Install the knife blade portion of the connector on the anchor bolts
- Place washers over the connector tabs and anchor bolts
- Attach the knife blade and washers to the anchors using nuts
- Slide the standoff base onto the knife blade assembly
- Stand the post on the knife blade and drive in the supplied dowels
