Aromatically, it is the bridge between the flower of Napoleon and the fruits of the old reserve (X.O.). The aroma of Napoleon's vine flower intensifies and becomes more captivating; the fruity side of the old reserve appears. This combination of aromas, as well as the aging in dryer cellars, give a higher liveliness and make it a more "intense" cognac.
